Well, please take into account that the ones that travel with kids are too busy to blog about it.
Take me for example, I recently took a trip with my husband and 4 kids to Vermont for a week stopping in to Lake George for the weekend where I stayed at the holiday in express and Marriott inn and suites.

I had such a memorable and amazing experience with pictures to back it!!
Total cost for me was $181.

??? You mean that you're a regular points traveller that has kids, similar to many on this forum. The topic here is about the established points/travel bloggers that make a living from their blogs - how most of them don't have kids.

Therefore I'm explaining the reasoning behind it.
To busy to blog.
Got a life to run.
Would probably have tons to share with the public, I guess when I start marrying them of

Not too busy if it's your only job.

Yup, that's what I was wondering.
Is it normal in the general population for married folks to forgo having kids or is it a blogger thing?
It's certainly not uncommon for couples to consciously decide to push off having kids, or even to decide not to have kids at all, get married much later if at all, etc. Maybe people who make their living off travel skew a little more towards not having kids (and several logical reasons have been mentioned already in this thread), but it's not in stark contrast to the population at large.
