Staples tax id, meaning the rewards number?
As i don't have any other id from them, they only thing i have is that when i order i just give them the rewards account and the tax goes off

From your existing account, find the tax ID # that stales gave you.
Put it into the other account.

i just tried and the rep said within 48 hours they can deduct after that it's impossible i just missed it

I just chatted with their live chat and gave them the code and they told me it's been 48 hours so we can't do anything.
I praised them with the usual generic praises and magic! She will take off $10.76 from the order.
She noted also it was used already for a different order quoting one that I did not recognize.
