Good thing this is in the NFL thread, so YitzeeEss won't make fun of me

After putting way too much thought into this, here's what LAC should've done... After LAC called TO, both teams were still very much in a classic prisoner's dilemma. LV was facing 3rd down with 38 seconds on the clock and 1 TO remaining for LAC.  LV wouldn't want to kneel, b/c for all they know, LAC will call their final TO to force a punt or long field goal attempt.

Instead, after coming back from the TO, LAC should have committed a pre-snap penalty (like encroachment). This would have advanced the ball 5 yards, giving LV a 1st down. This would break the prisoner's dilemma. With only 1 TO remaining for LAC, LV would have been in complete control to bleed out the clock with kneel downs.

But also giving just that much more of an edge and total control to LV to break their hearts (which they were at least somewhat incentivized to do).

When LV ran for a first down, that broke the prisoner's dilemma. They controlled the clock and could tie with no risk or take a small risk and win. They went for the win, just as they would've if LAC handed them a first down. LV wouldn't want to face KC in the 1st round if they had the choice.

Is this true? Was there an agreed-upon amount of Bitcoin? Why would he be taxed on more than he got paid?

Is this true? If I get a 750k salary, and I elect to have it paid in stock, is the taxable basis the value at time it was awarded? Should the stock drop and I sell at lower value, is that text irrelevant, or that's considered a loss and a valid income write off?

Whoever wrote it doesn't understand taxes in sports. Taxes are paid based on where you play, so he wouldn't solely pay California's tax rate. Furthermore, it also doesn't mention that he was also given a $500k signing bonus, and that could be exempt from income tax if paid while living in a no-income tax state.

How do they not foresee that restricting the primary market will simply inflate the secondary market? Yet another econ 101 failure in CA.

It was widely reported Saturday that legendary quarterback Tom Brady would be announcing his retirement, with his company TB12 and the NFL tweeting about it. But sources -- and his mom -- now tell NBC News he has told the Buccaneers no decision has been reached
