Na, the defender caught the ball, and Jefferson wrestled it away from him with one hand. It wasn't a one handed catch like OBJ's.
If the defender wasn't there, I'm not sure if Jefferson catches it.

Make a ridiculous leaping backwards one handed catch like that. Nowadays it seems like players practice it because these types of catches happen more often.

Just google Randy Moss best catches. He made unbelievable one-handed catches all the time.

You can also watch the first Superbowl and watch a one-handed catch by a no-name.

Just looked and didn’t see anything remotely similar to the OBJ catch. Link?
Note- a one handed catch does not make it similar, many have done that before OBJ. But no one made an OBJ-esque one handed catch until OBJ, but many have done it afterwards.
