I think they should disqualify The Pats and the Colts should play the SB.
I'm dead serious.
Cute.

But seriously, some guy on the radio said they'll probably take away a first round draft pick. He said that the patriots hate first round picks. That's not a punishment. Take away their picks from rounds 3-7 and see how they feel then

lol.

I don't know why they should get the win. If you found out I cheated on a test, do I get to keep the score and pay a fine?!?

Thoughts on the patriots cheating yet again?

And does each time hold the balls for their own offensive possessions?
The colts stunk, no matter what type of balls were thrown would not have made a difference.

True but that is not the point.

True but that is not the point.
Anyhow regardless, its embarrassing for the NFL that they don't have a system in place to prevent this.

38 point differential
So if it was a 3 point differential then the outcome of the investigation should be different?

True, why aren't the balls under referee control?

In all sports teams do what they can to get an advantage. I look at it as pushing the limits and not actually cheating.

Not necessarily, I was referring to the point differential in regard to the final outcome of the game.

Is that true for corking the bat or spitting on the ball as long as you're not caught? Difference being?

Spitting on the ball yes, corking no. I guess it is like ethics where we all have a different scale.

You could almost look at it as violating the T&C's.

I think it would depend on if other teams do this also. If no-one ever does this and its a clear attempt at violating rules then i dont think it can be viewed as just violating the T&Cs. Also the idea that it was a blowout should effect how they handle this makes no sense. If anything the fact that they cheated when they didn't need to makes it even worse.

Isn't this more like corking a bat?
