Claiming bonus UA mileage plus miles

I achieved gold premier status in mid trip ( on my originating flight) yet only received the 25% silver bonus on my return flight. Anyone know a quick and simple (read online, no phone calls) way to claim the additional bonus miles? Or should I just bite the bullet and call?

use united call back. pretty educated reps.. you can do a DDMS search or a google search & you will find it
