anyone have a past car rental (before 9/15) that they didn't claim miles on yet. so i can reinstate united miles?

I got a car rental on a different name but United says that it has to be on my name dose anyone have any experience how i can use it?

Looking for a hertz rental from 8/1/14-6/30/15. I tried dollar and thrifty receipts for my united account and so far no luck. Free is better but willing to pay upon mileage reinstatement.

i called United and they said i must use the online form or scan the actual receipts and email them to mileage plus
i called the rental companies (hertz & dollar) and they also told me to use online form, which takes 6-8 weeks, and requires filling in name of renter and contract info.
who did u call that credited miles instantly? please help!

After submitting a hertz redeipt for credit on the hertz website can anyone tell me how long it took for the miles to show up in the United account?
