unfortunately, don't have that card and the miles expired a week ago. any success reinstating lufthansa miles using a prior car rental?

Success story. Had 103,000 Southwest RR points. They expired in September. I called two days after expiry to get them reactivated and was turned down. I asked for manager and then their manger, all the way up to the corporate office where the answer was the same "no way to reinstate the points". I came across Dan's article about rental car idea and remembered I rented a car with Budget in Atlanta airport back in August. As Budget in Atlanta is a private licensee, only they can get me the miles, Budget 800 number could not help me. While getting someone on the phone in that location was no easy task, I am happy to report I now have 103,000 and change RR points in my account with an expiration date of 08/2018!

Do priceline car rental generally not work for this? I called up alamo and they said they couldn't do it since it was a priceline itinerary.

Does it have an Almao confirmation number in addition to the priceline confirmation number?

Yup and I gave the cs rep the alamo confirmation number but they said they couldn't add it since it came from priceline (fyi it's for a prior reservation not existing/future).

I had 56k which expired 12/31/15 and flew united this past year w/o credit the miles (Skiplagged) any chance I can get that added now to reinstate the miles?

I have an alamo rental receipt from 8/14-20. I'm an alamo insider but I don't think there is any point in that system.
And I didn't claim any miles points as they charge extra if you want to earn miles.
Would it be possible to use this receipt to add miles?
Let me know if you need this receipt to activate your account. I have expired UA account, but alamo is not a UA partner so it won't help me anyway.
