Hi all,

I am using my own Dollar car rental receipt to credit to an AAdvantage account, to reactivate expired miles. Problem is, the name on the car rental receipt on my own, and the AAdvantage account belongs to a relative (same last name, different addresses). It looks like with Dollar, you can make a claim for missing miles on their own website, and they will credit to the airline- at this link

The question is, which name (and address) should I enter on the form- my own, since the car rental receipt from Dollar which I am using is in my name, or the name on the AAdvantage account which I am crediting to? Thanks in advance!

When mine expired, I called them and told them that I didn't realize they would expire and asked for a goodwill gesture. The rep looked to see that it was the first time and she reactivated them for an entire year.

I need a national or budget receipt prior to February 15,2019 to reinstate southwest miles. I will pay $25 or the standard fee to get this done. Would appreciate assistance from someone who can help me through the process. Ty in advance

I just tried this with National today but they told me they could not add my Southwest number to the reservation because the system did not allow it. I think it is because I used autoslash/priceline to make the reservation.

Should I HUCA?
If not doable, then I need a Budget or National receipt prior to 2/23/19 to reinstate Southwest miles. Happy to pay you for it- let me know what you want.
