infant tik using AF or AZ miles on DL metal?
« on: January 07, 2015, 06:14:16 AM »
hi, i am trying to figure out whats the best way to use AF or AZ miles on a DL flight (US-Eur or Israel direct on DL) and book a lap infant in business class. if i pay 10% of the adult fare, it will probably cost a good $500+ unfortunately. I also read AF will not issue these tix on partner flights, so I am wondering if it can be done after the fact by calling DL? anyone with experience?

finally, we may use AF miles to fly DL in one direction and AF on the way back. in that case, would they only issue for their leg and then would it still be 10% of the one way adult fare?

what about using AZ miles? I know AZ doesnt allow lap infants in biz class, but will they issue a tik for one on delta?

thanks for your help!

This past Thursday I used flying blue to fly jfk tlv on delta business with lap child.
This is booked with return on AL with one day stopover in cdg.
I ended up paying $215  for lap child.
