Hello DDFers!
I am trying to use a SWU for the first time on a ticket I just booked (AA flight JFK-LHR in Feb). I have tried to search DDF to find out how to make use of them, but I cannot find the posting where people have talked about how to use them.
I tried calling AA to get my seat upgraded, but they said they can only put me on the waitlist as the seats are not available at this time for upgrades (from AA.com it looks like 90% of the business seats are open). Can someone give me advice on how to better my chances for an upgrade? Is this just a HUCA situation?
