In the summer I got a whole new heating system switched from steam to radiant heating. Last couple of days its been really cold out and it appears as the heat is not generating enough heat (thermostat set to 72 and it doesn't go higher than 68). I called someone out and he said everything looks ok and he wasn't sure what the issue can be. Need a 2nd opinion.

Your system is probably maxed out, if it works well when it's not so extremely cold i wouldn't worry.
let me know if i'm wrong...

In that case I would worry but there is nothing a plumber can do you can try going back to whoever was responsible to put it in
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

If your house is small and not insulated, there are going to be days when any system cannot keep up with heat loss (unless your curnace is massively oversized). Big houses fare better because a lower percent is exterior wall, and a well insulated house should retain heat for much longer by slowing heat transfer.

I'd sooner invest 3x the money in insulation (if it cost thaf much) rather than overtaxing the heating system.

There might be air in your system, or an undersized pump, etc.

Looking for a plumber in BP area (16/49) available now.

Toilet isn't flushing or something of the sort... It's my grandma and I live too far to check it out myself :)

Thanks
