Does anyone have any experience with Dollar Rent A Car in Mexico? Any horror stories?
Also a bit confused about insurance. A lot of reviews out there say that car rentals in Mexico, including Dollar, have mandatory insurance you must buy and is not included in the initial reservation quote. However, in Dollar's fine print it says that "Dollar offers for purchase as the rental counter several insurance-type products...although each of these coverages is optional."
I will be using my Chase Sapphire Preferred so will get the coverage through that.
