Orbitz Bucks - How to use?

I have almost $60 in Orbucks. No real use for them and some are about to expire.
It seems like they could be used for any hotel booking.
Any ideas? Are they sell-able?

(BTW, it seems that the Bucks post right after a booking. So what happens if I book, use the Bucks and then cancel the booking?)

Seems that if you book and cancel they will refund them and they'll be good for another year.

I've thought of this but all I could think of is that they might charge your credit card for the value of the Orbucks if they were used, but I doubt they would do it, my guess being it would work.

I didn't look into this, but I think there are different kinds of bucks. The website says they'll expire in 15 days and I only earned them within the last few months.

Doubt they would charge my card (even if they would, it's disputable. Not anyone I owe money to can charge my card, it has to be a transaction I made). Anyway, I think all the cards ever associated with my account are long cancelled.

Oh if they expire that quickly it might be promotional bucks which will not credit back to your account. How did you earn them?

Try planning ahead? A "okay" hotel in Tel-Aviv can set you back $70 with promo codes for example.

I just googled last week. They had 48HRSALE. And also $25 off two nights for first booking with mobile app. Then there are the regular promos, but some hotel only have promos if u book one night.

Current promo is HOTEL10  for 10% but they should get a new promo in the next few days that should be better then that.
