I am looking at booking some award tickets from TLV to ORD with UAL miles and flights I keep coming up with TLV>Addis Ababa ET (ADD)>IAD>ORD. Has anyone here ever flown this route? Other than the 8hr layover is there any reason not to fly this route? Any concerns for an obviously jewish family coming from TLV? I realize this itinerary has us changing airports in DC but am not too concerned about that.
