Another data point for my theory about pizza places which is that quality is inversely proportional to the friendliness of the staff/chef.  ::)

Other examples of this include Rosa's A"H in the Empire State Building, and Bravo on 35th st.

I have to throw in Slice of Life in Skokie (Chicago) for their deep dish. As far as I know the only authentic kosher Chicago-style deep dish in the world. They make it in the cast-iron pans and everything, and it's delicious. Just make sure to ask them not to overbake when ordering.

Another inverse rule: the more frum people who love a pizza shop, the thicker the crust and the greater quantities of mozzarella.

That's a proportional rule

youre right    :)
I was gonna start by saying that it was inverse to the quality of the pizza but i decided to switch it mid sentence

Big Bite in Jerusalem makes better pizza than any Brooklyn ones. That's why it's full of Americans...
i also like their pizza, but the fact that it's full of americans is not a proof that it's better than the brooklyn ones

So this thread (according to the op) was supposed to be for amazing pizza,  and looks like every place in the world made it.

not authentic and definitely not for a foodie but for nostalgia purposes my all time favorite was Netanya pizza on Ave J back when they were open and making really good pizza and really cheap
couldnt beat those specials
great price but hard to get past the fact that their kitchen and store   looks less clean than the train tracks right next to And on top of them. Have to assume the rats where in the kitchen

The amazing kosher pizza wasn't found for most of the world, so some people switched to discussing tolerable pizza.

Well can I at least get comments from people who've tried rome or denver? Then I can see what they suggested in the thread and then I'll know which might actually be good :)

I actually really enjoyed the pizza in Rio, though it's really their pasta that shines.
+1. Very good pizza.
Very different than standard fare with the cracker crust.

+1
I make my own sauce, my own dough (a slow fermentation dough, so it has a lot more flavor than just the general yeasty nonsense we are all so used to) and I usually use fresh mozz.
BTW, Pizza Time is one of the most overrated pizzas I have ever had. The fact that so many consider it "the best pizza" is insane. It's fine, but it's not memorable in any way. And the nonsense rumors that the sauce is the same recipe as the famous DiFara  pizza a few blocks away (which I have obviously not had since it's not kosher) just show the ignorance of the average Kosher Flatbush consumer. The guy in DiFara literally doesn't let his own children make pizzas, but he's giving some Jewish guy a few blocks away his recipe?!
My personal favorite store-bought pizza (though not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination) is Fialkoff's.
And I had a pizza cone at KosherFest a last year. Probably one of the most vile pizza-related creations I have ever tasted. Another thing that is representative of the frum world's obsession with gimmicks over substance. I love being frum and I love frum people, but cuisine is one area of life that we have to change here.

+1000
pizza time is the most overrated pizza shop IMO. I used to hear all this hype and finally went to check it out for myself. Worst anticlimax ever.

As for the pizza cones, its just a novelty that should not be called food. And i am sure its selling like wild in camps and the like. Cute concept but disastrous taste.

+1 though there has been some headway in the past half a decade. What I think we need to improve on most in terms of cuisine, is costumer Service. I can't compare to noon kosher establishments but it seems our high end restaurants forget this important aspect.
