I also tried out Naomis Pizza on main street in Queens.  I heard good things about their pizza (And also heard very high things about their falafel which I thought was alright) so I tried it out last friday.

I got 2 specialty slices and a soda for like 7.25. Very good prices.
My first was their "white slice." It was thin crust (but not crispy) and there was no sauce. They also throw on some spots of ricotta cheese which added to the flavor. It wasnt fresh and that definitely impacted the overall taste but it was still good. not my favorite, but definitely a good slice with some nice flavor.
My second slice was the 'pesto slice.' Not good at all. I think there was cheese but I couldnt tell. There was what I think was pesto spread over the entire thing. There was this weird flavor of cilantro or parsley or something that just ruined it completely. I couldnt get the flavor out of my mouth for a while. Im glad it was my second slice so it didnt ruin the first. Also, it was even worse because it wasnt fresh at all and I had to reheat it by the time i was ready for it.
Overall, Naomi is a bit dirty and they only take cash but that one slice was pretty good for the price. In my area, it probably gets my vote (over bennys, bengis, and labellas)

As an aside for those who make their own:
Take buffalo motzerella and teari off 1 inch pieces and throw it on top of the pizza before going in the oven. It's a game changer. That and fresh basil and baby tomatoes.
Oh and kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper  . Best toppings for pizza

This is the basic recipe I use (but I tweak it a bit). I actually quadruple it because a massive can of San Marzano tomatoes from Costco is like 4 bucks. Then I divide it into portions and freeze:

Here are mine:

Lazy recipe: Newman's marinara sauce.

Non-lazy recipe:

• Crush 5 garlics, and saute in olive oil in a saucepan until cappucino brown
  Add a can of whole peeled tomatoes, with all the juice
  add salt and pepper
  simmer until the juice evaporates, stirring
  smoosh the tomatoes with your wooden spoon, and add a couple more tablespoons olive oil
  simmer until the olive oil you just added turns red
