Best Frozen Pizza
« on: January 16, 2015, 12:08:06 AM »
really going a little off topic, maybe it deserves its own thread. I'm still looking for the best frozen pizza.
mendelsohn's: slices are rolled too thin.
J2- sauce to cheese ratio is nisht.
Amnons: crust is too thick and ratio is terribly off.
Pomora (think thats what its called) (new-ish brand): slices are too small, although flavor is not bad.
chevra pizza: ew!
Any suggestions?

I love the Macabee frozen pizza bagels.
If you see something that is 50% off but don't need it, walk away and save yourself 100%

yeah but you have to let them completely defrost before you make them otherwise the outside will burn and the inside will still be frozen.

I love the Macabee frozen pizza bagels.
They used to have so much extra cheese in the box. Now they're so stingy with it.

pamodori is closer to the exact name
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Amnons (compared to the rest) from costco...
Try different toasterover/oven or maybe try at different temps... There is no comparison to homemade or pizza store, but I've tried Amnon's in multiple toasters and ovens Heating in convection toaster preheated to highest temp is your best bet. Try adding toppings as well...

There is no good frozen kosher pizza.
Go freeze a pie from your favorite pizza shop.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

One of the best: http://www.homeruninnpizza.com/frozen-pizza
Now that you mention it, do any of the kosher brands come with toppings? Paging CS1...

Tell them not to bake it in the first place?
