Reviews on books about the Rebbe
« on: January 17, 2015, 11:04:55 PM »
Anyone out there read the most recent of the books on the Lubavitcher by either Telushkin, Miller or Steinsaltz and can say if and why they liked/disliked it? I want to read one but not sure which. I'm a typical Yeshiva guy from Flatbush so I'm cynical about "rebbishe maises" but love to read biographies about great and influential people. Just want a good book with some history of the Rebbe's upbringing and all his efforts for Yiddishkeit as Rebbe. Thanks.

I read Telushkin and reall enjoyed it. I heard from a few friends who read all three that if you're going to read only one that's the one to read.
