Avios and USAIR Fuel Surcharge

Hi all
I swear I looked at a PHL-TLV coach flight last week and it came up with avios as 20k miles + $23 which is pretty amazing. But now with all this extended availability, it is coming up with the fuel surcharges of $300+. Did anyone else see the low charges? Is there a trick I stumbled upon to accidentally see them (I waited to book), and I would love to recreate now with this awesome award availability...

It's always been like that, you have to click all the way through to see real amount.
