AJK, its not a refund. Its like they pay off the bill... Its a separate credit. The guy who came up with these promo is, what it looks like, extremely customer friendly....

Doubt it, I always keep an eye on mail from Amex (150k offers, etc.  ;) ),

It's more likely that i received it in email and it was by mistake deleted or something.
