The things I am thinking of doing are linking the debit card with Redbird, loading RB at target, or buying a $750 money order at Walmart. Will any or all of these meet the debit card purchase requirement?

I used my wife's BofA Alaska card to fund her new Citigold account with $15k. I faxed in 1 request and then called in on the same day. Now when I check her BofA account, there's 1 completed charge of $15k (which was pending as of Friday) and 1 pending charge of $15k. Total credit used is $30k. I don't have access to Citi account to see how much is in there right now. My wife's BofA CL is $16k, CA limit at $200 only. Does this sound like a duplicate charge due to fax and call? Or is the pending likely to fall off soon? I understand Visa Signature cards can exceed CL easily. We called in to get auth for $15k only.

I believe most people have not received the TYP or AA miles for the recent 30k AA/40k TYP promo yet. I think a few people have called or SM'd Citi and gotten the points manually posted, but that is the minority. My wife applied for the 40k TYP promo offer posted by DoC in late July, she has met the requirements and still nothing. Today, I read some comments on miles to memories blog about the most recent promo, and someone said that these offers are targeted and Citi is refusing to give promo points from the offer a couple months ago because of this. Anybody have more info on this?
