Does anyone ever run into trouble not filing taxes on selling points or certain types of MS?
For example, I sent a family member $5k using a payment service (2.5%). They contacted me saying that in order to complete the transaction I must confirm that this is for either goods or services. I said it was and the payment completed. Were they saying this for tax purposes?
And when receiving large payments for points sold, does anyone ever run into trouble not paying tax on that "other income"?
