Don't those soldiers and the government that sent them care about Jews? Yes, the school children are victims of terrorists, but to say that "no one cares when the Jews are attacked" is an unhelpful and inaccurate victimhood mentality.

By all means. Obviously Jewish deaths will hit closer to home for most on this forum (I think it's safe to say most DDFers have a few Jewish acquaintances) but any senseless loss of life is horrible....

Exactly correct. That's why the world doesn't jump into action for every Jewish death, just like we don't jump into action for every nigerian kid killed by Boko Haram.

All I meant to bring to light is that at the end of day most people are not speaking up enough or passionate about deaths that aren't in their own backyard or close to home in some way or another.

It's not just us Jews...
