Under rewards is different options for redemptions. If you are talking about the quarterly bonuses they should show activated on the right side of the screen when you login.

Never had a signup bonus from Discover so I am not sure. Is it statement credit or cash back?

It is common knowledge that discover will credit any statement balance under $2 to $0 every month.

Many people who have other cards don't have patience to utilize and keep track of it as the discover is seldom used.

Here is a idea: Add it to your google play account, buy 1 or 2 free apps/games a month!

You get more than $2 of satisfaction this way and you don't need to worry about it as most apps cost exactly $.99 or $1.99.

I made a significant payment to my Discover card and it has cleared but my available credit is still not updating 3 days later.

My card had been maxed for over a year, paying minimums. Paid a bit to be able to use Apple Pay for promotion.

I've seen companies cut credit limit when making big payments after being maxed (like this), but they didn't cut my limit just did not release it...

Any thoughts?

yes same happened to me alot of times they will not release credit line until 8 biz days on new sources of payment etc but it can be easily fixed by calling and they will transfer you to specialist who will call your bank to confirm that you have authorized the payment

I'm scared to call. This is the only credit card I have left after messing up my credit. May as well wait till Monday

well it may also be a vicious plot by discover to foil the plans of this trying to do apple pay by freezing their credit lines who knows.....

Might be a stupid question, but why isn't the Discover IT card with 2x cashback the best card out there? (At least for those who don't use most of their points, but, ehem, $&!! them for 1.3-1.8 cpp? Here you get straight 2 cents per dollar, and you get cash, no dealers or buyers to worry about, and it's totally legal, and it has no annual fee.

Am I missing something?

Citi has a similar offer now.
