Need to seek refund/start claim within 90 days of original purchase date, then 30 days to send in items.  Claims go up to $500.  We pay shipping.
You work for Discover?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Is it worth it to get the discover it card? I have received numerous solicitations in the mail for it and I like the fact that it offers the credit score
However, the solicitations never included a cash back offer for spending X amount in first 3 months.

Finally today, I was on amazon and saw that if I apply for the card, I will get $100 amazon gift card after my first transaction in first 3 months.

Does this make the card worthwhile?

Thanks

5% back, I think it's totally worth it. This site is where I get all my information about it. and they rated the discover card 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Discover just closed my discover it miles account 1.5 months before double cash back hit... and it was a significant amount that would have been doubled. Anyone with success getting them to reconsider this in the past?

What was the reason?
Paid from someone else's account. I conferenced in that person, their bank, myself and discover to clarify that this was authorized but obviously didn't help much

You can call afterwards and say that you forgot to use the referral and they should credit $50 to your account but they won't be able to give $50 to your friend for referring you.

he wants to give the referral to his friend
does it make sense to cancel the application and start again?
will it ruin his credit he is just starting out?

CMIIW, but there doesn't seem to be any benefit for buying $200 VGCs to take advantage of a quarterly 5% benefit.  Do the math.
Also, if GCs are resold at 95%, there goes the 5% benefit.

Can someone please enlighten me how to take advantage of this quarter if I do not buy merchandise for myself?  Amazon and Target.

You could've bought target gift cards the day they were on sale, or reload your Amazon account.
