Discover IT card
« on: January 22, 2015, 01:18:02 PM »
Is it worth it to get the discover it card? I have received numerous solicitations in the mail for it and I like the fact that it offers the credit score
However, the solicitations never included a cash back offer for spending X amount in first 3 months.

Finally today, I was on amazon and saw that if I apply for the card, I will get $100 amazon gift card after my first transaction in first 3 months.

Does this make the card worthwhile?

Thanks

Do you have a link?

The main maila of the Discover IT is the 5% rotating cashback categories. This quarter is gas stations.

I would. Worth it for the 5% cashback categories. I have one and will probably get another to use this quarter.

Why waste a pull for 5%? Most you can spend is $1500 a quarter which = $75. You can get sign up bonuses that are worth 10X that.

I do those too...
I got the Discover card when it had the $150 bonus.
It also has a referral program, but I'm not allowed to talk about that :)

Is there a 150$ sign up? Or did that expire?
