Maybe start off by writing one of your favorite recipes to get this rolling.

One of my all time favs, Gin and Jam:
  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (1 part hot water : 1 part sugar)
  • 1 tsp raspberry jam
  • spoonful of jam for garnish
  • Add the gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and jam to mixing glass
  • Add ice and shake for 10 seconds
  • Pour into glass filled with crushed ice
  • Top with a spoonful of jam and stir it in while you sip
Enjoy!

Caipirinha.
Requires Cachaça. You should be able to find Sagatiba Cachaça Pura (which is kosher) in the US.

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Nothing original, but on Shabbos morning I sometimes make Irish coffee with tasters choice sugar and milk with half a shot of Glen 18 per each 7 ounces coffee, let me tell you it's נותן טעם and not לפגם.

Btw do you have any better recipes for shabbos friendly irish coffee? the tasters choice isn't by choice just out of convenience I really need to find a better recipe, I'm sure there are better ones out there and you seem like a alcohol expert.

yes, what you use for coffee and whiskey does make a big diff. bourbon in general is sweeter than scotch as its made from corn. try using bourbon instead of scotch.

It's more of a summer cocktail, but I'm a big fan right now of the Bourbon Palmer.

It's fairly easy to make: 3 oz. Iced Tea, 3 oz. Lemonade, 2 oz. Maker's Mark and can be done with store bought iced tea and lemonade, though it's much better when made with fresh brewed tea and homemade lemonade (1 part lemon juice, 1 part sugar, 6 parts water).

The flavors are each distinctly noticeable, but they also blend beautifully.
