If you are willing to drive a bit further, both Hunter and Windham are doing quite OK  and have ideal snowmaking conditions for the next few days.

Hunter:
How are hunters blue and black compared to okemo? I noticed they have mostly blacks.
I'm not who you think I am.

IIRC there arent many mogul runs at hunter so the blacks and double blacks dont feel as hard as vermont (killington)

Correct, but there are 3 decent mogul areas, and the double blacks are pretty challenging, very steep and fast.
(I have limited experience with mountains bigger than Hunter (1600 very ft), but hunters ratings are definitely skewed to the more challenging side from the mountains I've been to)

Which mountains?
Windham, some small mountains in Canada & Iowa.
I've been to Hunter more times than I can count though.
I've heard the same from other more experienced ppl there and from guides that work the mountain.

I noticed that hunter has a lot more blacks than green and blues, and barely any turning trails which I prefer.

Define "turning trails"?
But overall it is pretty steep and narrow, with the exception of about 5-10 nice trails.

For those that care... I went last year... Very happy. Won't say it's a huge place... But for the price it's good.
