It has now been nearly three full weeks since Gift Card Rescue reported payment as "Sent." If it's not in the mail today (I'll give them the benefit that today is included in three weeks) I'm going to request a new check or other method of payment.

It appears to me that the business is cash strapped and is "slow paying" sellers. Just a guess... Not very cool, I wouldn't deal with them again for a GC sale.. I would probably still purchase from them if they were the lowest price.

Lunatic are you still waiting?

I called yesterday, and they told me they can send me a new check on Friday. I told them I wanted right away, and they said they had to wait... I started barraging the ceo on Twitter, (check out doc twitter feed). Well, I got a response from the ceo and they called me to let me know it is going out today via priority mail...

FWIW I got my check from cardkangaroo last week. They were a pleasure to deal with.

Yikes. They are definitely in AT LEAST a seriously bad cash flow situation... I hope I can get my money out of them before the ship sinks. I may try your tact.

Same here. It's for peace of mind. I worry when they take more than 8-10 days.

Sent tweets right after you posted... still no response... You get a delivery confirm # yet? They obviously didn't ever send payments the first time they said they were. Just buying time, classic slow pay.

CEO tweeted back to me that my check is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Thanks for that tact, hopefully it works... Now we see if it clears... LOL.

In other news I've had to return Bloomingdales GC's to both CardCash and Raise for not having balances and being blocked by Bloomies as stollen. The Raise one caused my MillagePlus Shopping order @ 8x pts and triggering 1250 bonus points to be cancelled... GRRRR.

Stay away from gift card rescue..
After all markets lower their prices..They keep theirs up, to attract customers, and then afterwards notify the seller that the cards are rejected and offer a lower rate.

My GiftCardRescue check cleared. It's unclear whether it was a reissue or simply the first issue after several weeks of nopay/slowpay. They honored the prices quoted which was somethign i was worried about since my margins were slim for profit and points. I would NOT sell to them again, it appears that they are having serious financial issues. Thanks again to Lunatic for getting the ball rolling on payments.

For such a high cashflow business with slim margins themselves I'm sure they're not acting maliciously or fraudulently but they're likely just in extreme distress and seeking to take market share by competing with some of the top players.

What type of check was it? The reissue checks are signed by hand. Original checks come from a payment processor
