Will my flight get cancelled ?

Flying tomorrow night at 7:30pm out of JFK.

Do I have a chance of getting out before the storm ?

Depends to where...but likely will get cancelled IMO. Better chance if its INTL

Not to hijack thread but has anyone booked a flight with intentions of getting bumped? thinking of doing it for tom from BWI :) :)

Last I checked 1-4 inches throughout the day in which flights will still take off
and a 1-2 inches a hour from 7pm and on at which point flights will stop.

They're already saying which hours they're gonna close ?
Keep in mind strong winds could also be a factor.

But once the snow starts that heavy it only a matter of time before the airport shuts down.
My question is if that happens before or after 7:30pm ?

Be wise. Pack now and as soon as you get the cancellation email call them they should book you on a different airline or earlier flight.

As soon as it starts snowing all flights must be de-iced before departure that causes tremendous delays

last time i legit booked a last min flight knowing there was bad weather ahead, I got bumped for $700 DL vouchers, i thought at the time, brilliant idea to do that purposely!
