My flight for Wednesday afternoon EWR - TLV was canceled. How much time do they need to shovel the snow?

Well, the JFK-PBI flight was already cancelled. And after waiting on hold an hour, I got on with a representative and then promptly got disconnected. Anyone have this info before I wait on hold another hour?

You should be able to get them to do it. HUCA.
If they cant get you to your destination, they cant make you take the return flight, if they didn't get you therein the first place.

LAX-EWR-TLV for Wednesday was cancelled.
BH managed to rebook LAX-FRA-TLV and bypass the Northeast completely.

6 hours instead of 1.5 and leaving LAX at 3pm instead of 6am.

I'm in trouble, I've got a wedding on the 27th and I need to be in Virginia for shabbos for a bas mitzvah. Maybe I can get them to rebook me to stop in Europe and fly into somewhere South.

tlv - phl 1/26 11:30 pm, us airways. Figured would have problems so switched to flight on 1/27. now I'm thinking that the flight mon nt may get out, but being as usairways only has 1 flight a day, if the mon nt 9:10 pm flight from philly is canceled they are not going to have a plane here tuesday nt 1/27, effectively cancelling the 1/27 flight even though by then would be ok to land in philly. is that a reasonable assumption? should i try to get back on tonights flight?

United rebooked my flight on LH tomorrow morning. Going to have to scramble to be ready in time (and hope that this one doesn't get canceled as well), but at least they booked me a full fare ticket.

What stinks was the rep said she would book me a flight onto my final destination (RIC), but she submitted the change to LH and then it wouldn't let her add the other flight.

Is it worth it to use miles to upgrade?

That's another story. You asked if there was a chance... And the answer is certainly yes.
On the hotel, likely not. The person who caused the storm would be liable. Not the airline.

My united flight for tomorrow got canceled, The only flight they offered me
(other then shabbes...) was on Monday which very late for me, I asked the airline if I book with another airline will they refund me, they said I can submit a request for a refund but its not guaranteed since its weather related.
Does anyone have experience with such a request? will they approve it?
