Not yet. Now the blizzard is scheduled for 1am. (Although earlier they expected it at 10 pm, then 11, then 12.)

During the storm debacle under Bloomberg a few years back a FDNY ambulance was stuck on my block for days. Hotzolah was able to get people to the hospital.

I'd definitely call Hatzolah first.

They manage to get things done.

I see you're in Cedarhurst. You have some of the best Hatzolah guys around; they are well prepared and equipped to deal with this storm.

Side note- I had car trouble on Rockaway Tpke on the way to the hospital last kid.

Called Hatzolah and specifically told them that my wife's in labor, on way to hospital, we need a lift but not emergency, so don't need lights and sirens.

Less than 2 minutes later there were multiple Hatzolah guys in the parking lot of capital one building waiting to catch the baby.

Just came inside from shoveling, seems like planes are still taking off at JFK at the usual tempo...

You too? I thought I was the only narrishe that was shoveling. I did not see planes at JFK and I ALWAYS see them.

lol I figured my back would thank me tomorrow morning for taking 3-4 inches off the total I'll have to shovel tomorrow.

I live at the edge of the 5T under the path of planes taking off of runway 13L, they typically make a left turn AWAY form the 5T so maybe that's why you don't hear them.

Lol. Ask my daughter if she didnt hear them. She woke up from the planes at 5 am for a good 6 months daily before getting used to it.

They are right over us (about 4 min before and after landing and take off). Not sure on the terminal though

They automatically come there days.. Together with amber alters etc...
There is a way to unsubscribe somewhere in the phones settings.
