Yesterday the models flip flopped between a 1 foot and a 2-3 foot solution. They seem to be converging on the 2-3 foot solution now, but anything can happen. Do not take this lightly. Starting this evening, things will get bad quickly. It's not smart to rely completely on weather models, but the most recent one gave a forecast of 45" somewhere in long island. So take this seriously.

Actually not much added info in the article itself other than top 10's for Boston and Philly too, but lots of cool links embedded. Especially some stuff about the blizzard of 1888, which apparently spurred the creation of the subway (or at least was one contributing factor).

My landlord has only one son and he is getting married tomorrow in Brooklyn. Most of the family/guest live out of town!! What a petty.

There are two models that are predicting 2 different totals for nyc. One has nyc getting 12-18 inches. The other has nyc getting 5-8 inches.

There are much more than two models, and no major model has 5-8. Which are you referring to.

was not paying that much attention as to which model says what. I was watching the weather channel at 10 AM. That is what they said.
