Didn't hear Rush, but I think there was definite over-reaction, and probably political considerations involved in said over-reaction. For example, if it's supposed to be awful and the unions manage to clear all the snow anyway, then look at how awesome they are! City workers definitely deserve raises, right?

I can't really say. I have a driveway in Brooklyn. My kids did it yesterday; they had lots of fun. They cleared the path out to the street. Then recleaned it after the shovel truck came by. Later, when my kid wanted a lift somewhere, the car itself was cleaned off by the time I got outside.

How long did it take you?

After using my remote starter to heat it up I was out in about 2 min

Probably because of the cold the battery doesn't give enough power may be time for a new one

Should've jumped on the Amazon lighting deal on Clore Jump-N-Carry's from earlier this week. I was this close to pulling the trigger till my wife reminded me that we lease, and will likely be doing so past the likely lifetime of the jump starter. Not that a leased car can't have battery trouble, but it's a lot less likely.

Had about 3 feet of drift on roof and about 3-5 feet around sides and back. Took about 45 mins to clear, but then still need to wait for lot to be cleared before I can go anywhere, and I'll undoubtedly have to reclear the plow wash from when they clear the lot.

I turned last night my front and back window defroster on high for about 20 min and by the time I came back I only had to literally wipe off the snow and all was cleared. ..

I didn't shop for the last one. We ran out of baby formula, and had to dip into the emergency box. But I suppose that's what the emergency box is for.
