Does National charge for mileage on rentals of luxury vehicles? I was booking a one way rental and it said unlimited mileage, but the rep on the phone told me I will get charged for every mile I drive.
Is that correct and is that because its a one way or because its a luxury rental? (I really wanted to book it because it was only $10 more)

Update on this.
I ended up booking a premier because that was cheapest available. When I got there, (there's no Emerald Aisle in SRQ) the guy gave me a Audi A4 which is luxury and I asked him if there's any mileage charges because its "luxury" and he confirmed that there was not any extra charges and he never heard of such a thing.

I tried doing that two days ago but by me there was no full size vehicles available even for in town. The cheapest option was premier and you cant use a cert for anything above full size.
I told the rep that my certs expiring in a month so she extended it for another year.

LAX has some of the best cars available with Audi, Mercedes etc regularly available on the EA

I just discovered that a bunch of my rentals from enterprise did not credit as rental days for National. I tried looking around my emerald profile and dont see where to connect the enterprise number with national. CS is closed now but I feel like im doing something wrong. I was under the impression that any rental that is done at enterprise automatically credits to National, Is that not the case?

Im feeling quite stupid now. Anything to do at this point? I am not sure how I missed that. I always assumed that they were connected and never bothered to check if they were credited properly. In the past 2 months i have rented over 10 times...

Call National customer service and have them add it manually now ,retroactively

Anyone know the deal with returning a car to a diff location? I'd like to use a free day and do a one way rental from BWI to EWR but the car I want (premium SUV) won't show up as available when I choose EWR as my return location (if I return to BWI or shows as available). What would be the risk if I just rent it from BWI and then return to EWR?
