Very strict, Manager was nice, but claimed he doesn't have authority to override the 25yr requirement (even after i agreed to pay extra).

I complained that there was nothing nice in the executive aisle, so he told me to take any SUV i like from Alamo, took fully loaded ford explorer.

I see. Officially the rule is that under 25 can only get up to a premium... So it was nice of him letting you take an SUV...

Was there this morning, I'm 21, used Jewish community code for a challenger from the Executive aisle with no problems

Nah, there were SUV's available in the executive aisle, just didn't like any of them.

Yeah, saw the challenger, wanted the Cadillac there for extra $20/day, our stuff didn't fit in it.

Just FYI. I ended up renting from Enterprise. They had way cheaper rates ($9.99 a day for a mid size). I got a Chevrolet Taho for $187 for a week (the whole transaction took 2 minutes, no mention of under 25) and took off the underage fee with the Jewish Community contract.

Would my National EE status mean anything in Enterprise?

You get rental credits by using your EE number in the rental.

Depending on location you might get an upgrade, but no guarantees.

You can just statusmatch from Hertz status etc to get Enterprise status.
