I just lost my Executive status, sent them an upgrade request as for my amex plat card.I did not include my card # in the email, how will they verify it, do they call amex? (I have 2 plat)

If I wont be able to return my rental. Can someone else go? In the past I've never been asked for ID when I returned a car, anyone have experience with this?
I booked a FS rental for two weeks from now at FLL via Chase UR but put in my executive club # which I received via Amex Plat. Yesterday I canceled my Plat, will I still get to choose from the Executive Aisle or would my status automatically cancel with the cancellation of the CC?Additionally, what Cars do they generally have at is the Executive Aisle at FLL?

Picked up a Infinity QX50 with 400 miles on it from FLL. Booked a Midsize, have EE. (Was not in the exec aisle, the manager of Alamo gave it to me.)
