gotten this numerous times. Im EE but i reserve premium, and sometimes ill ask for something fun to drive. this is not "fun" but i have received it on numerous occasions.

ive had this happen all over the country. Chances are around 27.86%.

Aha. Is the treatment significantly preferential for elites over executives? I'm working towards elite but don't rent often enough.

Not really. It all depends on the agent, whether or not you get an upgrade. I have never really pushed, as it really doesnt matter too much to me. On the occasions where i have asked, most of the times i have gotten something different. IE. convertable BMW 3 series, Infiniti q 50, lincoln nav, x3, etc.. but im a big guy, and for me the chrysler 300 works well. Its powerful, roomy, and gets pretty good gas mileage.

Sometimes they try to hustle me for an extra charge on Luxury, I am EE. Would the gate let me go thru with anything?

It all depends on the agent, though IME there ARE better chances if you go straight to the gate.

YMMV.i personally had and heard from friends on numerous occasions that the gate agent allowed even from a different company IE alamo, enterprise.

In most cases they let me go. I always reserve Compact and Drive Tahoe's QX80 and ATS's but every once in a while the welcome person makes problems.

have rented already like 10 15 times from national in lga, never saw a minivan in the aisle
