So given the miles are still there does this mean it was indeed a idle threat?
NO.. If you don't get back to them they will 99% likely shut you down.
No, I had a ticket booked from a friends account, they didn't shut his account down right after he got his letter, they shut it down 24 hours before my flight was to depart. Had to book another last minute mileage flight.
How long past the amount of days given is it ?
So no miles in the account?
Did he get a letter or an email?
Can you go after AA for this? Unless they could prove you bought it. I'm sure you could demonstrate that you're friends, and it could have been a gift...?
Ah, but maybe it would b a good idea for the community to bait aa and sue them multiple times to get them to be less aggressive?
Friend got an email from corporate security, login is active miles are there, does this mean anything?
when you get the dreaded email, you'll be able to access your account & the miles will still be there (you'll even be able to book an award flight, but it won't ticket) . after you get the 2nd email, you won't be able to login.~my personal experience
How long between 1st & 2nd email?P.s. how long between this thread was created till its deleted?
Does the AA audit team make a issue if a account books it first ticket for a name different then the name on AA account, or they only catch on and make issues after multiple different ticket under different names?
