-Cleveland (10 kosher restaurants, 3 sports teams, football and rock hall of fame, waterfront activities, lots of museums, etc.)
-Cedar Point (The Roller Coaster Capital of the World!)

If he's going on Chol Ha'moed, I'm assuming the eateries would all be closed...
Also, how much time are you really going to have if you want to be in Chicago for shabbos? Unless you leave right after yuntif ends on  Wednesday night...
