That's great! I'm glad I have all those former AP accounts still open. I see lots of weddings in the future.

You will receive your Amazon.com Gift Card via email from Amazon one to two weeks after registering.
GCs cannot be redeemed for purchases of gift cards. GCs cannot be ..... ..... or applied to any other account.

So I'll just wait and see. It's not too much work to try and get $20 Amazon.

I made this point yesterday. I am going to be Dan le'kaf zchut and say that the people who are registering are actually getting married and the people that are in for 4 are lying. How else could people justify such blatant theft?

The only other thing I can think of is that people think that stealing $80 from a. Multi-billion dollar company isn't actually stealing since they have so much money.

There is an option for Private so the "news of the wedding" is not spread causing panic in the family

Did you even bother reading the fine print?? It clearly says that you will get an "Amazon.com GC by email..."

I don't have sympathy for Amazon...when they shut down my AP account for paying rent to my landlord, they held $1500 of my money (some of it transfered from my bank account) for weeks - I had to pay double rent that month, since my landlord never got the money, and they shut down HIS account, too.

They had no problem stealing from me.

it's not a matter of sympathy. It's a matter of being yashar. I'm sorry this happened to you but that doesn't give anyone the right to steal from Amazon.
