Hard to believe it was a coincidence of them having the MR 40% transfer promo in the month before announcing the devaluation.

With the MR xfer promo it had a solid use even for lang haul F awards like CX or JAL.

USA-TLV it will run me 1/3 more to fly from 60 to 90k on J and 90 to 120k on F +YQ the only hope is if BA will drop the hefty YQ then it will sweeten the dev

Check your other options from MR and see if it still make sense to transfer now with the 40% bonus.

the other option is AA 67.5k or LH BA is not worth it even with the 40% for numbers sake AA J OW to TLV is 67.5k x1.4(40%)=94.5 +YQ for BA on partners  and dont forget that MR points worth more then AA this days
