I'm sure most of you go the email last night that you can now choose your own 3X points category.
Seems pretty awesome being that one of them is gas!
Does this mean year round we can get 1500 MR for a mere $5? That sounds cool! This is almost like an IP/IB

Yes, but... Visa and amex don't use the same store categories.

you sure? I was thinking it's like freedom and discover card where you buy OVG and you get 5x.

Can someone confirm if it's only at the pump?

Amex BC worked in store so I expect this would be the same.

Yes and yes but the MO option is dead at WM. Need to find another store in your area.

This may be the wrong thread but when I look at my itemized MR, I can see the 3x for flights show up separate in January but not after that. I bought plenty of airfare on this card since then. Why is it not showing up? Did I accidentally change my 3x category without realizing? Am I actually getting 3x on airfare but it's just not itemizing separately? What's up?
