Snow Blower
« on: February 02, 2015, 06:15:51 PM »
Anybody have any recommendations?
All this shoveling breaking my back. Time to get a snow blower.
There are just so many different options.

Thanks!

Spend the money and get a better one. Get a gas one. There is a big difference between then cheap ones and the more expensive ones.

I got a cheap electric one. And it's fine for my needs. Got it for $100. Would it be nice to have a $600 gas one. Sure. But if you don't have a huge area, not sure it's worth it
ETA: it was this one http://mobile.walmart.com/ip/Snow-Joe-Ultra-SJ620/14894196

I have a touro electric one. Don't even bother taking it out. Live on a corner and my driveway and walkway are on different sides of the house. If the snow is too heavy then it jams, too light and it blows in my face. I used it today out of desperation just to clear the entire driveway.

I have a very big and powerful gas motor snow blower. The thing is a monster. But I never use it anymore because the snow here in pittsburgh is really powdery. You want to buy it from me?

Just used it again tonight. I don't have a huge area to clear. Double driveway attached to a walking path. Total is probably around 30x15. Just what I need

I got an Ariens 28 last year. Worked well - although need to make sure it is built level since auto steering would kick in when you don't want it to due to drag on one side.
