You should have accolades showered upon yourself.

This is a nice option to get from TLV-Far East using US miles.

No, b/c AA won't let you route via Europe from TLV to Asia.

But 75k RT w/ US, and allows a stopover. Great deal, but can't chg date once travel commences.

You might need to if your plans change. US is very rigid.
Stopovers are of any length of time.
W/ US, you can officially stopover at any OneWorld hub, but practically, you can likely convince an agent to do it anywhere.
In addition, if you spend enough time on the phone, you can likely finagle a long fun routing. Their CS isn't the smartest...

CMIIW, but US airways considers HKG to be North Asia (120k in J from middle east)

I was actually thinking about Thailand, which CMIIW, is 75k.
You can route through HKG.

I'm not practically planning it. That's what I had remembered when I was researching this stuff.

Not as great as 60k AA value, but not far behind, especially w/ the lower values given to US.
