All jokes aside, the moral of this thread is that you should not trust someone just because he/she/they/it is a DDFer. Investigate before you put yourself at risk. Take into consideration the number of posts and the content of those posts (and your gut feeling).

Probably reach out to Dan and/or JJ first before publicizing anything.

Someone could always do a few positive things to build up his rating & then scam on a big scale.

I do too, like the person who signed up for an account 5 minutes before asKing me to buy a kindle for him when they had that kindle deal.
But just bc Ssomeone has many posts doesn't make them trust worthy. Ill usually take a look at the content of some of their posts.

it's not like the primary purpose of ddf Is to sell and make deals.  Unless I'm missing something.

So it should be scalable. Not saying that it will be (easy) implemented but criteria for example:

Hat tips 5%
Post count 15%
positive feedback for helpful posts 30%
positive feedback for business done with 50%

Those should be treated like JS anyways and should not count towards the post count. THAT however is probably really complicated to implement.

I scammed someone on DDF but I don't want to expose them because they might still decide to come after me.
Are there any Mods that can help me?

Hence the chargeback.

Right. "Hi, Amex. I paid $13 for DDSCLE and I enjoyed the refreshments, learned ways to earn $5K each year, and ways to save an additional $20K on vacations.
However, I only met AussieBochur and one of Dan's brothers so I'm not satisfied with DDSCLE and need to do a charge back."    ::)

What about a simple "vouch for" thread where people just post positive experiences, someone can do a quick search in it before a transaction?

It's sad. I personally have had only good experiences doing business with DDF members. There are sick/pathetic people out there.

I have seen on other forums (android something or other) the option to thank a member.
A member with lots of thank you's (shows up underneath name) is considered more trustworthy...
