50,000 points after spending $1,000 in 3 months:
http://www.dansdeals.com/go/marriott1/

Users are reporting that Chase (ask via SM) will agree to match the 70k offer (or even 80k, apparently) if you spend $3,000.

Once you get the anniversary Category 1-5 certificate, it stays in your account, even if you cancel your card and don't pay the AF.

I wouldn't match.

Spend 3k for the 80k bonus, and spend the rest 27k on spg card.

Yep, DoC had the same conclusion.
I was thinking like this. Let's say I already got the 87k for the original offer, ask them to match for the 5 points per $1 for the rest of the 63k

Doubt they'll do it but it's worth a shot.

I have had the Marriott business   card for 3 months and the Af didn't hit yet anyone have that happen to them? Is it a glitch in their system that I won't have a Af hit or will I get it sooner or later?

I opened my card on 11/15/2015 and got the free night email on 11/15/2016. FWI the email subject was "You Have Earned Your Free Night". I booked the free night and cancelled my card a week later to get the AF refunded.

you didnt need to book the free night. once its in the account you can cancel the card without losing it.
