Users are reporting that Chase (ask via SM) will agree to match the 70k offer (or even 80k, apparently) if you spend $3,000.

Just got this in an email

This holiday season, to thank you for being a valued cardmember, your purchases can get you one step closer to your next getaway. Receive 3,000 bonus points in November AND in December when you make $3,000 or more in purchases with your card in each of those months.* These bonus points are in addition to the points you regularly earn with your card.

I got it, too.
What does 6,000 Marriott points buy you?   I guess it's maybe one night at a Category 1 property...wherever that is.  ???

The point is it will add on to your existing points. It's not meant to be a free night at a Ritz Carlton. It's 6000 extra points

I get that. I was trying to  make the point that their points are very devalued (not worth much). In comparison, 6,000 SPG or 6,000 HGP really gets you something.

True. Its technically not even worth the spend as SPG points are worth way more than double Marriott points

Data Point: I recently applied for the public offer of 50,000 and successfully matched today to the targeted 70,000 offer (after $2k more in spending) via SM. I included a screenshot of the 70,000 offer in my message.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised that it's a metal card, A nice touch.

Why didn't you match to the 80k offer?

I didn't see any live 80,000 offers, but TBH I didn't look very hard.

I'll try to re-match to the 80,000 offer, does someone have a live link or recent screenshot of the 80,000 offer?

Screenshot shouldn't be necessary.

There's no 24 month rule for approval.
