50,000 points after spending $1,000 in 3 months:
http://www.dansdeals.com/go/marriott1/

Users are reporting that Chase (ask via SM) will agree to match the 70k offer (or even 80k, apparently) if you spend $3,000.

Did anyone add the link yet to the 70k offer?

Here is the one I got. It should work for anybody.

I just got an email for the 70,000 again, which would bring me to 90,000. Again I would like to ask the question. Should I take a credit hit on applying for this card or should I wait for an SPG or AA special? Those are where I have most of my points.

If it's one or the other in general I'd recommend SPG over Marriott. That being said why not do the Marriott now as part of a 3bm? Unless there are better Chase cards out there you want to apply for. It all depends on your needs.

Thanks for the 70K link. I will try it and let you know.

In terms trying to make a reservation sooner, can I borrow the points from Chase/Marriott? Does anyone here want to lend me the points that I can pay back when the bonus kicks in (and maybe some extra points for your efforts)?

Thanks.

I didn't add the #. What is the significance of the # that makes you smile like that?

I just got off the phone with Visa/Marriott and they said that since I got the 50k bonus on the premiere that I would not be getting the  30k bonus on the Marriott rewards and that even if I were to close the account and reopen later I would be assigned the same number and therefore not be eligible for a bonus again.

Is Marriott not churnable?

Not a bad offer, but I'd rather save my Chase churns for more valuable currencies than Marriott.  Not really a fan of their program.  30K CO+$50 cash back+fee waived is much much better than 50K Marriott+$65 fee.

Are Marriott points transferable?

I just signed up for the card , and need to stay at a Marriott in six weeks- which is pushing it close to get the points...

1- does anyone have experience with how long it takes for the points to post?
(Does it help to pay the card before the closing date??)

2- are Marriott points transferable?
3-Can someone "lend" me 30k and ill "pay back" after I get the points?

Thanks for any help!

But is there any way to "hold" a room for points I don't have yet?

Where did you see it. Its not on chase.com.
I have the marriott card and id love to churn it for the 70k but its only been 2 months since my last pull. Do you know if this deal will be around for any period of time?

I actually just called marriott and they said that this is the current deal but they said that when you sign up you need to make sure youre getting that deal because they have a 70k, 60k, and 50k going right now.

Of course, that's why you're seeing different offers.
